About Me.

I am a full stack developer and lifelong learner. As a former professional musician and engineering student, I fully embrace the challenge of melding art with technology. I enjoy creating minimal designs with simple coding solutions.

Here are some recent projects that I've worked on. Please visit the individual project pages to read more about them.

Downpoll

Side Project
React

Edited 10.30.2024 - Migrated db from Planetscale to Turso. Downpoll is a simple polling application that allows the user to create their own polls and share them. This app was created to demonstrate some new and exciting technologies that I had been interested in for a while, mainly tRPC - a utility for building strongly typed APIs in TypeScript. The full tech stack can be seen below: Next.js tRPC Prisma Planetscale Turso When I first heard of developers building full-stack applications entirely…

Chat Application

Playground
Ionic
Angular

The classic chat application with a few twists. This project was built as a playground for features that I would eventually add to a similar chat component used within an application at work.

Utilizing Ionic and Angular, my initial plan was to build an iMessage clone and add any unique features after the design was complete. This was made very simple using Ionic components such as ion-toolbar, ion-grid, and ion-list. This wasn't the first time that I had used Ionic components but I was suprised at how perfect the stock components seemed to be made for exaclty what I was doing. I have included mock data within the project to initialize a few message threads as well as a simple random-response generator. Feel free to message some of the contacts and see if they respond!

Websites

Side Project
HTML/CSS
React
JavaScript

Since 2015, I have been making and designing websites for various reasons. Some of these have seen better days, and some are still wonderful. This page serves as a compilation of some of my favorite ones throughout the years. All of them were excellent opportunities to learn something new that I hadn’t done before. Here are a few I would like to briefly highlight!
